Veterans is a Horde guild on Al’Akir.

We’ve been on Al’Akir since EU-Retail started.

We played as Veterans in the US Beta and the EU Beta.

Clan Info / History

Clan Veterans formed in winter 1999.  VETS merged with ILP in summer 2000 and began to enter leagues.  VETS mostly come from different games before Counter Strike; such as Half Life Death Match, Team Fortress Classic and Action Quake 2.  VETS have played in almost every “oldskool” UK league and have had a fair bit of online success as well as winning several lan tournaments (roweb, savage lan, etc).  Taking breaks every now and again for reasons unknown (Diablo 2, NeverWinterNights, Warcraft 3, etc) VETS have always returned to the premier divisions of almost all leagues and are still there.  More recent achievements include winning Savage League, Cup, and Lan, BWCSL.  We were top of morat ladder while we played there and were the first clan to make No 1 in CBUK, holding that position in it?s early days.

Whilst many players have now retired (see members section) from the main Counter Strike team, we still have an active CS team?.
